My name is Dr. Aaron Dannegger, but everyone around town knows me as Dr. D. We figured out a long time ago that young patients (as well as their parents) had a hard time remembering or saying “Dannegger.” I want to make dentistry as easy as possible for everyone, so we started by making “Dr. D” easy to remember and say. It is informal and relaxed, just the way we want our office to be. I have been practicing dentistry in Springfield, MO since I graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry in 2000. During that time I have served on the Greater Springfield Dental Society Board of Directors many times over the years. I have also served on the Ronald McDonald House Tooth Truck Board of Directors for over seven years and had multiple terms as the President of that Board. In addition to being on the Tooth Truck Board, I have been doing dental work on the Tooth Truck at least once a month since 2009. My wife, Laura, and I relocated here from St. Louis because we really liked the Springfield area. The natural beauty of the area along with the friendly people and community spirit of the Ozarks really appealed to us. We enjoy raising our three kids here and being involved with their education at the Springfield Catholic Schools as well as their extracurricular activities and sports. We also like to spend time together camping and boating at the lake. I have been coaching Springfield Spirit, youth hockey for many years and when I get the opportunity, I like to go for long bicycle rides over the rolling hills on the back roads of Southwest Missouri
My name is Christy. I started my dental career in 2005. I started as a Dental Assistant learning all of the procedures before taking on the role of office administrator. In 2017 I became the Office Manager for Best Impressions. You will still see me interacting with patients in every area of the office. I’ve been married to my husband Shaun since 2002. We have two kids Kailey & Grayson who keep us very busy. I love spending time with my family and friends, shopping, sports, cooking and traveling.
I’m Shawna, and I am a hygienist here at Best Impressions. I started working for Dr. D back in 2003 after earning my degree in Dental Hygiene from Missouri Southern in Joplin. I had worked for several years as a dental assistant prior to going back to school to be a hygienist, so I have a lot of experience in dentistry. I am originally from Southern California and moved to Southwest Missouri in 1997. When I’m not helping people attain their attractive healthy smile I enjoy spending time with my family, painting, and design.
I have been in the dental field for over 18 years as a dental assistant. With my many years as a dental assistant I strive to assure things run smoothly and efficiently with a warm smile and caring thoughts. I am married and have two wonderful boys. My interests are going to church, all of my boy’s activities, watching football and basketball and taking many vacations to Walt Disney World.

I’m Ashley! My dream for a career in dentistry became a reality in 2015. I started as an assistant and now the Office Administrator here at Best Impressions. When I’m not here serving our wonderful patients, you’ll find me out enjoying life. My two wonderful little girls and I spend our summers soaking up the water and sunshine, the winters snuggled up, the fall around a campfire, and the spring doing a little of all three. We are very blessed with great friends, great family and an awesome life!
My name is Bailey. I have been in the dental field since 2013. Graduated school for assisting but have done my fair share of front office work. I love assisting alongside Dr. D, and bringing the best care to our patients. I am a huge Cardinal’s fan, and when I’m not catching a game I’m at the lake, hiking or spending time with my wonderful husband Michael and my dog Tucker.
